This movement has aestheticand symbolic value, and is acknowledged as dance by performers and observers within a particular culture. Dance can be categorized and described by its choreography, by its repertoire of movements, or by its historical period or place of origin.
New Baldwin understands that there is more to music than playing a musical instrument. Our music curriculum has been designed to cultivate a better appreciation of music in lieu of a broader and deeper understanding of its nuances.
The music department at New Baldwin follows the guideline of CIE (Cambridge International Examinations) and National UK curriculum for music. It is targeted at students of primary and middle school (up to 8th standard.)This curriculum has been tailored to meet the needs and abilities of students at New Baldwin. Students are given ample opportunities to present their talents to the world. We help them select and perfect the genres, songs and instruments that would bring out their best.
Sports Academy
New Baldwin group, while laying stress on valued based education gives equal importance to sports and extracurricular activities. A vast playground with attached indoor sporting facilities and a swimming pool are evidence to this. Our students have been good at sports always and our students have brought us several honours from state and national level sports events. Notably the institution gives special coaching in cricket, football, hockey , basketball , athletics. Chess, carom and table tennis are a few pastimes available for students who want to keep off outdoor activities.
Martial Arts
The school focuses on studying by finding and anticipating questions. The school looks at the course outline for major themes, formulates outline or concept map answers to your sample questions and organizes supporting evidence logically around a central argument.
Skating Academy
Skateboarding is an action sport which involves riding and performing tricks using a skateboard. Skateboarding can also be considered a recreational activity, an art form, a job, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been shaped and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the years.
Robotics
In today’s’ technology-driven world, it’s important now more than ever to prepare students for the future. Teaching robotics to young students throughout their schooling can increase their ability to be creative and innovative thinkers and more productive members of society. Many governments have already recognized the importance of robotics in the classroom and have begun to create programmes and laws that would incorporate it into their public education system. By teaching our students the basics of robotics, we can open a whole new world to them and exciting opportunities that they wouldn’t have access to otherwise.
